NIAD-QE is certified by the Minister of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan as an evaluation and accreditation organization of universities, colleges of technology and graduate law schools. In order to support maintenance and improvement of quality of education and research activities of higher education institution, NIAD-QE provides certified evaluation and accreditation for universities, colleges of technology and law schools, institutional thematic assessment and national university education and research evaluation.
In order to improve the effectiveness of certified evaluation and accreditation (CEA) of universities to be conducted in FY2018, NIAD-QE held a training seminar on the purpose, content, and methods of evaluation for its evaluators on Monday, June 18, 2018. The training seminar consisted of: (1) opening remarks, (2) an explanation by Special Appointed Professor Tutiya on CEA of universities performed by NIAD-QE, and (3) a Q&A session.
In addition, on 22nd of June, a training seminar was held for NIAD-QE evaluators on CEA of colleges of technology to be performed in FY2018.
