Purpose
How do we approach quality assurance in the age of globalization?

Both Japan and Australia are looking at the internationalization of quality assurance and international cooperation as higher education becomes increasingly globalized. Universities and government in each country are implementing reforms to match this new situation. NIAD-UE is therefore inviting Australia’s foremost expert on the issue, Emeritus Professor Denise Bradley, the interim chairperson of TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency), Australia’s national QA agency to be established next year,to speak on the current situation of higher education in Australia. We also hope this will provide an opportunity to discuss how university study can be catered to lead to a fulfilling career.
