Purpose
Recently, as great expectations are being placed on universities as centers for the creation and succession of knowledge, their social credibility and responsibility are also being called into question. One such example is the issue of research ethics. However, this issue is one that goes beyond research and should be examined in education and in the very administration of universities. One consideration that has implications in this regard could be academic integrity.
As we learn in this forum about the meaning and modalities of practicing academic integrity, we will think about and discuss perspectives for universities to autonomously implement quality assurance of knowledge.
